The inaugural ‘Sparkle’ at the Hilton Anatole event took place during the December 2013 Christmas season and featured more than 1 million Christmas lights, activities for the kids, a skating rink, live entertainment and celebrity appearances.
Extreme Lightscapes was call upon to provide a unique lighting event for the Hilton Anatole – one of the largest conference resorts in the country. The request was a tall order even for a mostly static Christmas light display. In the world of commercial Christmas decorating it is not often that we are asked to wrap 50 huge trees and make each one of them look different while creating a ‘whimsical’ holiday feel. And we LOVE a good challenge!
With some creativity at every level of our team we got to work designing and installing lighting scenes in just about every color pallette and shape and size you can imagine. The result was a wonderful experience of holiday whimsy that none of us will forget.
