The ROI of Marketing with Christmas Light Shows

09 May 2012 / 0 Comments / in Front Page News/by admin

Extreme Lightscapes founder and president, Darren Vader, discusses the benefits of holiday marketing with extreme synchronized lighting events and about the services we offer and how your investment with us not only has a positive return on investment, but also a positive return on the spirit.

There is nothing better than being able to help you achieve additional revenue while making your customers and the community at large – smile a little more a long the way.

Synchronized Christmas light shoes are  a concept that digs really deep into family traditions and truly brings joy to the hearts of your guests, visitors and customers and adds massive value to their family traditions from year to year.

Animated light shows are valuable for any venue that could benefit from increased traffic and visibility during the holidays. This is simply the most over-the-top, attention getting form of holiday marketing available to you today.

It’s a crowded marketplace and we want to help you stand out during the holidays.

We can help by creating a unique holiday experience that holds marketing value for your company as well as entertainment value for your customers – They will visit, they will stay longer, spend more, tell their friends and come back more often.

We can  help make any holiday marketing plan a much greater success than it otherwise might have been.

We love what we do. It shows in our work, it shows in our people – our vendors, contractors and partners –most of all -  it shows it the work we do for you.

Support the Making of The Father Effect Movie

29 Mar 2012 / 0 Comments / in Front Page News/by admin

The Father Effect
is a Documentary film that will focus on how much a father means to his children and how men who fully engage in their role as fathers truly have the opportunity to change the world.

Extreme Lightscapes is a proud supporter of John Finch and his ministries efforts as they work to bring John’s personal story to life on the big screen.

The full-length documentary will tell John Finch’s story of growing up without a father, the wound and the resulting incredible effect left in the wake of forgiveness. Featuring John as narrator, the film is set to tell the story of how growing up without a father shaped his life as a boy, a man, and a father. His year spent interviewing and conversing with hundreds about their “father stories”, and the wealth of knowledge gained from each, inspired John to tell these stories, along with his own, for the benefit of men and their families. The film will be filled with invaluable advice and insight from experts and poignant and unique stories from other people about how their fathers shaped, impacted and influenced their lives. The theme of redemption and forgiveness runs common through the healing wounds of these real stories. The Father Effect has a universal message and is a long reaching story, far beyond the immediate, into the lives of children who will grow to be adults one day soon, and will live out the effect of their father’s impact. Simply and directly, it is a story that needs to be told for the sake of families and generations now and in the future.

There are millions of fathers who have no idea how much they mean to their kids. Actions and words are not given the value they deserve by fathers. Commonly, these are undervalued leaving children unsupported properly and largely left to their own. We are making this film to create an awareness of the significant role that dads play in the lives of their children and to help men become better fathers. We want to capture the critical and powerful impact of fathers in a film so compelling that it creates intentional and purposeful actions by the men who watch it. We hope to ignite a movement of fathers who live in daily awareness of the influence they have on their kids so that they will become great fathers.

For those men struggling with father issues of their own, it is John’s desire that through this message of healing and forgiveness, they can truly change their legacy as a father. The universal message for all fathers about forgiveness, healing, and a new legacy and hope for the future is one needed to be received. In today’s new distribution environment for independent films, filmmakers can take an active role in distributing their films. John’s team will explore all distribution options including showing the film in colleges, churches, prisons, synagogues, temples, addiction treatment facilities and participating in film festivals throughout the country.

How You Can Help

Every dollar counts!  The more people who participate, the better the chance for John’s team to get the story out. To help, please donate, share on Twitter, “Like” us on Facebook, email this IndieGoGo link and let your friends, family, supporter groups, and co-workers know about the film and this campaign. On top of it all, nothing works quite as effectively as local, word of mouth support.  Please use the tools below the trailer to share with your friends and family.

XLS Supported Feature FIlm WWJD Is In FInal Stages of Production

23 Dec 2011 / 0 Comments / in Front Page News/by admin

What Would Jesus Do?

Extreme Lightscapes is a proud supporter of Director Davey Morrison Dillard and his team in their production of the feature film WWJD. Davey is an award-winning director, writer, actor, and artist. His films have been showcased in the LDS Film Festival, BYU Final Cut, Sego Film Festival, Tell Your Story Film Festival, Young People’s Film & Video Festival, Kids First! Film Festival, and others. Davey and his wife, Bianca, help run New Play Project, a non-profit theater company based in Provo, UT.

WWJD is a feature film following a college student named Tom and his three roommates over the course of one memorable day when they receive a visit from an unexpected houseguest–Jesus. He washes their dishes and goes skateboarding and miniature golfing with them–but for some reason, Tom, the only believer in the house, can’t see him.

Adapted from an acclaimed play by Anna Lewis, WWJD is a thoughtful, moving, and very, very funny exploration of the question of theodicy: Why does God let bad things happen to good people? And is seeing believing–or is believing really seeing? It’s a beautifully written and tremendously entertaining story that deals with faith intelligently without being cynical, playfully without being disrespectful, and optimistically without being dishonest. You can read the complete original play (along with an accompanying essay by the playwright) online–and decide for yourself if you’d like to see it on film.

“WWJD breaks expectations. Although untraditional, it is not irreverent in its approach to what it means to be a Christian. It is at turns hilarious, touching, and spiritual. A strongly written and redemptive piece.”
– Mahonri Stewart, playwright

Animated Christmas Lights Inspire a Holiday Anthem

22 Oct 2011 / 0 Comments / in Front Page News/by admin

We’ve been getting a lot of email from new fans and customers lately and I’ll be sharing some of the more interesting ones with you over the coming weeks. I thought it appropriate to share with you this one first – just to get you in the spirit of the season.

Joe Tran is a gifted songwriter. he writes songs the way most of us eat, drink or sleep – easily, naturally and laid back.

Joe found our website and was blown away by the ideas of what could be done with technology, sound and lighting these days. So he wrote a little diddy, recorded it to video and sent it to us  – an ode to the joys that Christmas lights bring to so many folks during the holidays.

Lights of Millerville Shine On Greater Houston

22 Apr 2011 / 0 Comments / in Front Page News/by admin

Choreographed Display Includes thousands of lights, a Virtual Santa, leaping arches, Special Effects and More.

The Lights of Millerville synchronized light show is made up of thousands of holiday lights pulsating in sync with a playlist of classic holiday songs. Highlights include a virtual Santa, dozens of strobe lights, animated leaping arches and more – all synchronized to classic holiday songs being broadcast over an FM transmitter at 95.1fm on the dial.

“Decorating for the holidays has always been an important tradition for our family. We wanted to continue to grow this tradition while adding new and interesting elements. This will be our first year using computerization of the lights.” Miller said. “We wanted to build something that would inspire people to support the charities we believe so strongly in; The American Cancer Society and Toys for Tots.”

The Miller’s have been hard at work on their light show since late spring when they first contacted Dallas-based Extreme Lightscapes about helping them bring their vision to life. “We were looking for a partner who has as much passion for the Christmas holiday as we do; Darren and his team at Extreme LightScapes are one of the few companies in the country that specialize in designing and installing synchronized displays and they do it with a very high level of passion and experience – They have been a great partner.” Miller said.

The Miller family asks that if you enjoy their display this holiday season that you consider making a donation to The American Cancer Society or your local Toys for Tots.
